JOB SUMMARY

The CV Tech III is responsible for the performance of echocardiography, and is responsible for delivery of care consistentwith the vision and values of the hospital and the standards of relevant professional organizations. The incumbent mustcomply with the Occupational Health and Safety standards for the hospital and is proactive in promoting a safe workenvironment.

EDUCATION/TRAINING

  • ADRMS or CARDUP credentialed (Echocardiography) – required
  • Current CMRITO registration – required
  • Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Diagnostic Sonographer program
  • Recent experience with 2D, M-Mode and assisting with Trans Esophageal Echocardiography an asset.
  • Experience with Paediatric imaging an asset
  • Relevant experience / internship required
